Additionally, the way in which the writing discards the familiar notion of good vs evil is pleasingly refreshing and intriguing. However, Calibre comes with a few disadvantages such as its dated user interface, limited customization options, and lack of a native help file. Very intense thriller with very realistic decisions & consequences, perfectly executed and brilliant performances.

This film is, however, a project which is full of pleasant surprises: it has some excellent dramatic sequences emphasised by impressive camera work (both hand-held, up-close shots of the actors and beautiful panning shots of the isolated Scottish countryside expertly build upon the already profound tension).

Simply put, they were as beautifully finished a pair of speakers as I have seen at any price. Even before the glorius triumph of of Unforgiven, a palpable sense of expectation greeted any project.
As Palmer’s feature debut, Calibre is nothing short of astounding.
